Dubai Duty Free triumphs at Frontier Awards

Double triumph for the Middle East retailer as Colm McLoughlin is recognised for his services to the trade

Dubai Duty Free was last night named Retailer of the Year (airport and land-based) at the Frontier Awards in Cannes, an event that attracted almost 500 people. Dubai Duty Free managing director Colm McLoughlin was also recognised on the night with a lifetime achievement award for his services to the industry.

UK airline Excel Airways was named Inflight/Marine Retailer of the Year, while Bahrain Duty Free won the award for Best Marketing Campaign by a Retailer.

Icewine brand Inniskillin was named Star Product of the Year, while L'Oréal's campaign for Polo Ralph Lauren Blue won the award for Best Marketing Campaign by a Supplier.

Alpha Airports Group won Best Partnership Initiative of the Year for its Alpha Heroes staff recognition scheme.
