Dubai Duty Free suppliers' forum opens

Around 700 representatives of 1,500 suppliers of Dubai Duty Free (DDF) and Dubai Civil Aviation (DCA) are expected for the 4th DCA Annual Suppliers Forum at Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry auditorium tomorrow. The theme of this year's forum is 'Partnership for Superior Performance'.

"We appreciate the importance of our suppliers and our strategic plan is aimed towards developing useful relationship for both of us," said Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, president of DCA and chairman of Emirates Group.

"Our strategy reflects our efforts in finding continuous means of improving our relationship and this forum has been organised to assist us both to understand each other better."

The aim of the event is to share common views and concerns and to strengthen relationships between suppliers and DDF and DCA.

Mohammed Alabbar, director general of Dubai's Department of Economic Development, will be the chief guest speaker at the event. During the event selected suppliers and partners will be presented with special awards.
