Dubai Duty Free pledges $10,000 to Raven Fox Ball

The Middle Eastern retailer continues its tradition of generosity with a large donation to the survivors of the Beslan massacre

Dubai Duty Free has donated $10,000 to the Raven Fox Ball to support the survivors of the school siege in Beslan last September. The pledge continues the retailer's long tradition of generosity towards causes supported by the ball, and DDF joins fellow travel-retail companies King Power Group, L'Oréal, Gebr Heinemann and DFS in kicking off fundraising efforts.

The Ball, to be held on February 3 at the Gloucester Millennium Hotel in London, features a number of fundraising games, including a raffle and auction. The event will also support the Alpha Sri Lanka Tsunami Appeal  and will include a special auction prize for the John Blower Trust.

Many companies have already donated prizes for the evening, but with so many good causes to support, Raven Fox is urging companies to give generously. Companies wishing to donate cash or prizes, large or small, should make their donations by Tuesday January 25.

Tickets for the event have nearly sold out and, with less than three weeks to go, time is running short to book your space at what promises to be an unforgettable evening.

For details of how to make donations or book your tickets, contact Raven Fox head of events Rossella Golluscio at rgolluscio@ravenfox.com.
