The annual Dubai Duty Free Golf World Cup will take place as planned in Dubai on November 14 and 15. The event has been a highlight of the duty-free calendar for the past eight years, attracting duty-free golfers from all around the globe. It is also an outstanding networking opportunity to meet the region's retailers and a host of international and local suppliers.

Day one will be played on the Emirates Golf Club and the final day at the magnificent Dubai Creek & Yacht Club. Anyone wanting to play should contact Anne Smith at Dubai Duty Free by e-mail on annsmith@ddf.co.ae

Meanwhile, the 8th Annual Middle East and Africa Duty Free Symposium, organised by Publishing International in alliance with Raven Fox Conferences, has been postponed to January 21 -22, 2002 in Amman, Jordan. The event, originally scheduled for November 11-13 2001, was rescheduled because of the uncertainties following the September 11 attacks in the US.
