Dubai Duty Free extends AmEx card programme

The co-branded card now offers more benefits to users, including lounge privileges and the chance to win Dubai Duty Free raffle tickets

American Express Middle East and Dubai Duty Free have increased the benefits on their co-branded premium credit card for those living in Dubai and across the UAE.

The new features include special rates on First Class, Business and Marhaba lounges and services at Dubai international airport as well as more chances to win free tickets for Dubai Duty Free’s Millennium Millionaire Draw for $1m and the Finest Surprise Luxury Car draw. There are also exclusive local and international offers through the American Express Selects programme and opportunities to win tickets to events such as the Dubai Tennis Championships.

Originally customers were entitled to a 10% discount on a wide range of products at Dubai Duty Free with further discounts of up to 40% at retail and other venues.

Dubai Duty Free managing director Colm McLoughlin said: “We have witnessed remarkable success in the use of the co-branded Dubai Duty Free American Express card...Dubai is growing as a consumer’s paradise, which makes it important for us to align the offerings of the card and to ensure that benefits are in line with consumers' expectations.”
