Dubai Duty Free and Visa in joint promotion

Shoppers at Dubai Duty Free now have the chance to become a dollar millionaire or win a luxury car in a new joint promotion with Visa International which began on 1 July.

If they spend Dhs 100 ($27) using their Visa credit card, shoppers win an entry ticket for the Millennium Millionaire promotion or Finest Surprise car draw, the winners of which will be announced at the end of August.

Managing director of Dubai Duty Free, Colm McLoughlin, said: "With the anticipated increase in summer traffic through Dubai International airport, we anticipate that this will be extremely popular with Dubai Duty Free shoppers."

To date, Dubai Duty Free has created 13 millionaires, with a new one being drawn every six to eight weeks.
