Dubai Duty Free and London Supply win top retail accolades at Frontier Awards

The travel retailers took the awards for Airport Retailer of the Year and Land-based/downtown Retailer of the Year respectively at the Frontier Awards last night

Dubai Duty Free (DDF) and London Supply – Duty Free Shop Puerto Iguazú claimed the top retail awards at the 23rd Frontier Awards held at the Martinez Hotel in Cannes last night. DDF fought off competition from finalists that included Nuance-Watson (HK), InterBaires and The Nuance Group (Canada) to take the accolade, while London Supply beat Peace Arch Duty Free and Lotte Duty Free to its prize. Bahrain Duty Free claimed Best Marketing Campaign of the Year by a Retailer, while Nuance-Watson (HK) and La Prairie secured the Best Partnership Initiative of the Year.

Meanwhile, Cyprus Trading Corp-Aer Rianta International took the Speciality Concept of the Year award for Uisge Beatha, Thomsonfly claimed the Inflight/Marine Retailer of the Year award and Bacardi was recognised for the Best Marketing Campaign of the Year by a Supplier for its Bacardi Mojito initiative.

Premier Portfolio secured the Best Supplier of the Year award and Star Product of the Year went to British American Tobacco for Dunhill My Mixture.
