Drambuie makes Asia/Pacific appointment

Independent liqueur supplier Drambuie has appointed Ian Strachan as executive vice-president Asia/Pacific, with responsibility for domestic and duty-free markets in the region

Strachan will be based in Sydney and takes up his new role on December 1.

Previously managing director of Seagram Pacific, Strachan played a key role in the growth of brands such as Absolut vodka and Chivas Regal Scotch whisky. He has 23 years' experience in the drinks' business, including 12 years with Seagram, and he will now oversee the development of Drambuie and Drambuie Cream in Asia.
