The beauty house is to divest some or all of its business, sources close to the company have confirmed

Italian beauty house Diana de Silva is poised to sell some or all of its business, according to industry sources. Both internal and external sources have suggested to RavenFox.com that the company could cease trading within a month.

One source told RavenFox.com: "The company has confirmed that it has drawn up a schedule to sell the company. The brands have not been performing in accordance with their image criteria and you have to be in business to make money not just for sport. A suitable buyer would be a business in the semi-selective or mass-distribution market with a wide portfolio of brands."

To date, the company has made no official announcement and was unavailable for comment.

Diana de Silva's brands include Mauboussin, Byblos and Montana but it is unclear whether these will be sold separately or as part of a package.
