Denver to review concessionaires' relief requests

Denver International airport is reviewing possible rent relief for tenants to ease the burden since traffic fell after the September 11 attacks.

Concessions manager Amy Shaw said her department will submit its recommendations to Bruce Baumgartner, aviation manager, as soon as loss figures from all tenants have been compiled and analysed.

She estimated a 30% to 40% drop in concessions revenue during the past four weeks, compared to the same period last year.
