Former Gerzon Schiphol fashion buying manager takes the reins

Following the departure of Hugo Boss head of travel-retail Nadine Heubel to German retailer Gebr Heinemann from April 1, the Germany-based fashion house has announced it will appoint Inge de Groot to run the department from May 1.

De Groot joins from Netherlands airport retailer Gerzon Schiphol, where she has been fashion buying manager since 2001. Her expertise in fashion and luxury brand retailing extends over 10 years.

Hugo Boss director international sales Dr Gerrit Rützel said: “We are delighted to have Inge on board. Her experience in travel-retail will be a great asset and she will further strengthen our team.”
