Luxury sunglasses retailer David Clulow is to open a new outlet at London Heathrow airport terminal five when it opens in March. The shop will feature exclusive products from designer brands, including gold optical frames finished with diamonds from Bvlgari, the Vintage collection from Tom Ford and Oliver Peoples diamond ‘Aero’ aviators, which will be available for the first time in travel-retail.
The company will also offer a prescription service to travellers within the EU, who can order sunglasses to be collected on their return journey through BAA’s Shop & Collect service. Alternatively, they can be sent directly to the customer’s home when they return from their travels.
David Clulow sunglasses director Avis Virides said: “We are delighted to be showcasing some unique products at T5 and have designed our store to the highest standard in order to complement the exclusive luxury brands on offer.”
BAA Retail head of fashion Hazel Curry commented: “David Clulow is a fantastic brand which will provide a comprehensive range of luxury sunglasses to passengers flying from T5. The unique store concept will offer a wealth of exclusive products, with everything from Gucci to Christian Dior, ensuring there is something for everyone.”
The T5 outlet will be David Clulow’s second at Heathrow, where it is already present at T3.
