DataFlight signs China Airlines contract

Supplier of handheld sales terminals and inflight technology, DataFlight Europe, announced today it has signed a contract to supply Taiwan's largest air carrier China Airlines.

DataFlight will supply its On Board Trader units (pictured) to China Airlines' entire 42 aircraft fleet. DataFlight marketing manager Morten Raaby, told TRW: "This is one of our largest-ever orders; for delivery this summer. It includes some training."

  • In 2000 China Airlines ranked in the 20 top-selling airlines worldwide with duty-free sales of $23.8m and sales per passenger of $4.25.
