Danzka promotion in Copenhagen "a huge success"

Month-long event brought branded Hummer to airport
Liquor supplier Belvédère Duty Free has relaunched its Danzka vodka in the Danish market with a month-long promotion at Copenhagen Kastrup airport. The event also marked the opening of the new duty-free shop created when Gebr Heinemann took over from The Nuance Group at the airport on June 1.
The promotionDanzkas biggest at an airport since Belvédère acquired it from V&S last summercomprised a giant store display featuring a customised Danzka bar with fan-blown cool winds to emphasise the products freshness. A branded Hummer vehicle was also displayed on a carpet of ice cubes underneath a key arrivals-departures information board in the main airport.
Belvédère regional director Europe Henrik Frandsen said: We were very pleased to be selected to decorate this area using high-impact graphics and displays for our Danish-produced Danzka Vodka in its home airport. Our concept was to visualise the look and feel of our unique Danish-designed brushed aluminium bottle that is so ideal for travel retail because it is unbreakable, light-weight and so easy to chill.

July is the busiest month of the year at Copenhagen Kastrup airport, with more than 2.1m passengers passing through the building. The entire promotion was a huge success and one that we are very proud of, said Frandsen.
