Sales of Belvédère Duty Free’s core vodka brand grew by 45% in duty-free and 64% in duty-paid areas in 2007

Liquor supplier Belvédère Duty Free, the travel-retail arm of France-based Belvédère SA, has reported that sales of its core Danzka vodka and its four flavours grew 53% in travel-retail last year. Duty-free sales were up by 45%, while turnover in duty-paid outlets rose by 64% in 2007.

Belvédère managing director Wojtek Wydro said: “We attribute this success to the hard work of our sales and marketing team as well as the realisation of our efforts in touting our vodka as ‘the world’s best travelling vodka’. Our unique lighter-weight and shatter-resistant aluminium bottle gives travelling consumers extra confidence in carrying Danzka Vodka in either their carry-on or in their checked luggage at airports.”
