The PC World and Dixons Tax Free stores at the terminal will offer a specific selection of products and services to passengers

Electronics retailer DSG International (DSGi) has revealed its line-up for the opening of London Heathrow terminal five on March 27. Each of the concept stores is dedicated to a specific set of products and services especially selected for airline travellers.

The first ever PC World airport store will be located in the main terminal and feature computer and business-orientated products alongside a wide range of Apple merchandise. The main terminal will also have a flagship Dixons Tax Free outlet offering the latest consumer technology products, including cameras, MP4 players, laptops and services.

DSGi will also open a new Dixons Tax Free Accessories store dedicated to last-minute, add-on purchases such as chargers, headphones and batteries, and a Dixons Tax Free shop in the long-haul satellite terminal featuring items specially selected for long journeys, including noise-cancelling earphones and games.

T5 retail director Nick Ziebland said: “The new stores, including the first ever PC World airport store, will offer the latest products to passengers travelling through Heathrow’s new T5. PC World and Dixons Tax Free are both established technology brands which offer exciting and innovative ranges—a perfect fit for the new British Airways terminal.”

DSGi managing director of airport retail Andrew Milliken added: “T5 will house the largest concentration of passengers in Europe, all under one roof. We are thrilled to be able to offer our customers such a variety of stores, each specially designed to match specific passenger needs, in this single airline terminal. We believe passengers will be surprised and delighted by what they find in all our T5 stores.”
