The fashion boutiques operated by the retailer at the new terminal have “surpassed expectations”
DFS Group has revealed that its fashion boutiques at Singapore Changi airport terminal three have “surpassed expectations”. The retailer operates stand-alone stores for Gucci, Burberry, Hermès and Bottega Veneta at the new terminal, which opened in January.
DFS Singapore managing director Craig McKenna told DFNIonline that the company’s offer was tailored to passengers looking for luxury brands because it expected the highest-spending segment of customers to use the terminal.
DFS operates 2,531sq m (27,233sq ft) of retail space at Changi T3 divided between 14 airside stores. Most of the space is dedicated to liquor and tobacco outlets, the retailer’s core categories at the terminal. The four fashion boutiques cover a total of 331sq m (3,560sq ft).
See the May issue of DFNI for more details on DFS and other retailers’ performance at Singapore Changi T3 in its first four months of operation.
