The supplier’s range of premium chocolate and nut confectionery products will be available in key airports

Australian supplier Paton’s has announced an agreement with retail operator DFS Group to list its range of premium chocolate and nut confectionery products at key airports in Asia and the Middle East, including Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International and Abu Dhabi International. The deal was signed during the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in Singapore last month.

Paton’s general manager sales and marketing James Kfouri said: “We are delighted to have reached agreement with DFS to extend our listings in their retail outlets. Over the past 28 years Paton's has expanded steadily through Australia, Asia, the Middle East, parts of Europe and the USA but this is the first major contract with DFS.

“It is noticeable that the pace of development in the category has been hotting up recently as retailers recognise the growing importance of confectionery in the airport mix. It makes the perfect gift—attractive, convenient and always welcome,” he added.
