DFS supports Raven Fox Ball

25-Jan-2006

The retailer has pledged $2,500 in aid of Colombian charity Hogar Camino de Esperanza, the beneficiary of this year's Raven Fox Ball

DFS Group has become the latest company to offer its support to the Raven Fox Ball 2006 in aid of Colombian charity Hogar Camino de Esperanza. The retailer has pledged $2,500, joining generous donations from King Power Group (Hong Kong), L'Oréal Luxury Products International and International Association of Airport Duty Free Stores.

This year's Ball, to be held at the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel in London on March 10, aims to raise much of the $100,000 needed to build a safe home for the young girls cared for by the Hogar Camino de Esperanza (Path of Hope Home) in Bogotá. The charity provides shelter, food and schooling for victims of abuse, but urgently needs new facilities as the existing home is no longer safe. All donations, large or small, are welcome.

As always, the Ball will feature a raffle and auction to raise more funds. Prizes of all shapes and sizes are urgently required. If you would like to offer prizes to help fundraising efforts, or if you would like to book your place at the Ball, please contact Gerrard Kennedy on gkennedy@ravenfox.com or call +44 (0)20 7779 8222.

The Ball will also feature the presentation ceremony for the Raven Fox Global Travel Retail Awards. For sponsorship details please contact Amanda Felix on afelix@ravenfox.com or call +44 (0)20 7779 8221.
