DFS names Bryce president of Mid Pacific unit

DFS Group the world's largest travel-retailer, today announced that Doug Bryce has been appointed president, Mid Pacific Region, effective immediately. Bryce brings to DFS over ten years of travel-retail experience, having most recently served as chief executive officer for The Nuance Group North America.

Chairman, president and chief executive officer of DFS Group, Ed Brennan said, "We are very pleased to have Doug Bryce join the DFS family. With his fresh perspective and considerable travel-retail experience, we expect Doug to make a significant contribution to the continued success of our Mid Pacific unit, which has been the source of many important innovations in travel-retail."

In his new role Bryce succeeds Scott Bowman, who was recently named chief executive officer of the LVMH Fashion Group's Marc Jacobs unit.
