DFS appoints new Hawaii chief

8-May-2003

Julian Levy has been appointed president of DFS Hawaii, effective May 1, replacing Bob Coe who resigned in January

Levy has held various senior posts within the company, including president of the North America region.

Coe resigned after 19 years with the company as DFS struggled to renegotiate its way out of its onerous contract in Hawaii. Last month, DFS and the State Department of Transportation came to an agreement whereby DFS will repay $25m in rent arrears, although a long-term solution is still some way off.

Full details will appear in DFNI May 15, out next week.
