DFS Singapore to open four luxury boutiques

The company is the main winner in a tender for seven luxury brand concessions at Singapore Changi terminal two
DFS Group has added almost 5,000sq ft of luxury boutique space at Singapore Changi airport following a tender for seven luxury brand concessions at terminal two's departures and transit hall. The company has won four spaces, totaling 455sq m (4,896sq ft), which in its bid document it said it would allocate to Gucci, Burberry, Hermés, and one of Polo Ralph Lauren, Bvlgari or Prada.Luxury Ventures will open a 165sq m (1,775sq ft) Bally store, jeweller Tiffany & Co will open a 152sq m (1,635sq ft) outlet and American Style will open a 114sq m (1,227sq ft) Coach boutique.
The seven outlets will be spread throughout the central and southern sections of the departures and transit lounges. Contracts will each run for three years with no option for renewal. Three contracts will start on January 1 2007, a further three on February 15 2007 and the remaining one on February 8 2007.
