DFS Group brings Galleria to Macau

The retailer confirms its venture with the Four Seasons Hotel Macau, where it will open several luxury boutiques

DFS Group has signed an agreement with the Four Seasons Hotel development company to build an 86,000sq ft Galleria store in the Macau hotel's shopping mall.

As previously reported in DFNI, the new DFS Galleria will feature boutiques from Hermes, Dior, Gucci, Fendi, Cartier, Prada, Burberry, Ermenegildo Zegna, Tods, Dunhill, Chaumet, Celine, Chopard, Ralph Lauren, Loewe, Omega, Tag Heuer, De Beers, Van Cleef and Arpels among others.

DFS Chairman and CEO Ed Brennan said, "The addition of Macao to the DFS destination portfolio further exemplifies DFS' strategy to add more stores in the very fast-growing Chinese market. The new DFS Galleria Macao will be the latest expression of our commitment to delivering the world's most popular luxury brands in an environment that reflects our customers' needs for elegance and excellent service. The architecture will also demonstrate the commitment we have to luxury in our stores."

The Four Seasons Hotel Macao, which is being developed by Las Vegas Sands Corp, is expected to feature 400 luxurious rooms and 600 vacation suites.
