Dubai Duty Free, TFWA, Montres Charmex, MCM and Bally confirm donations for this month’s Charity Ball

With 25 days to go, the DFNI Charity Ball has confirmed significant donations from high-profile companies in travel-retail. Dubai Duty Free (DDF) has pledged a cash donation of $10,000 and a trip to the DDF Golf World Cup—including return business class airfare departing from London—as an auction prize. Already having taken a table at the event, the Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has also donated a trip to the TFWA Asia Pacific show comprising two economy roundtrip tickets to Singapore with Singapore Airlines, one double room at the Pan Pacific Hotel from May 11 to May 16 and two full delegate packages for the Gate One2One and TFWA Asia Pacific events.

Watches manufacturer Montres Charmex has generously donated a limited edition watch from the Jubilé 1926–2006 collection worth about £2,500 ($4,943) as an auction prize, while leathergoods companies MCM and Bally have donated high-end women's and men's briefcases respectively.

This year’s DFNI Charity Ball will benefit the Children’s Research and Medical Foundation at Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin, Ireland. The event will take place at Renaissance Chancery Court hotel in London on February 29.
