Duty Free Air and Ship Supply (DFASS) has retained its inflight concession with Caribbean carrier Air Jamaica, and signed a new long term deal, according to the concessionaire.

DFASS has worked with Air Jamaica for the last six years, and will be producing a new brochure for them within the next month. DFASS has also just launched new brochures for Northwest Airlines and Continental Airlines.

DFASS is also planning to enter the diplomatic supply business, and is opening an office in New York. A spokesman said: "There's a gap in the market, and we believe there are a lot of the efficiencies of the inflight business that can be used in the diplomatic market. With the infrastructure of our bonds now in place, we are talking to key vendors about this market." Liquor is likely to be a key focus of DFASS' early supply activity in the diplomatic sector.
