DFASS plans wine store at Los Angeles

5-Apr-2003

Inflight retail specialist Duty Free Air and Ship Supply (DFASS) is planning to open a duty-paid wine store at Los Angeles airport, as part of its push into airport retail

The store is still at the design stage and will be operated as a sub-contract to WH Smith, along with several other gift stores in the Tom Bradley International terminal (DFNI December 1 2002).

There are two-and-a-half years remaining on WH Smith's gift contract at Los Angeles, with the option of a two-year extension. In total DFASS is to operate nine speciality stores on behalf of WH Smith.

Further details will appear on travelretailworld.com and in DFNI.
