DAA issues news store tender at Shannon

Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) has issued a tender for the operation of a news store concession at Shannon airport main terminal building. The concession includes one airside and one landside retail outlets, available from September 2008 and January 2009 respectively. The contract will run for five years.

The product offer in the stores should include a full book range, newspapers, magazines, stationery, soft drinks and confectionery, telephone top-ups, music and video. Travel retail companies interested in participating should have “relevant experience”, according to the airport authority.
