Correction: Baltimore-Washington airport

30-Apr-2002

?

The article this week about Baltimore/Washington International airport's duty-free Invitation for Bids (IFB) confused statements concerning the currency exchange bid.

The currency exchange, financial and other service IFB  pre-bid conference was held on April 11 and the due date for bids has been extended to be due by 4 pm, May 21 2002.  This IFB has been revised to provide a four-year contract term.

The duty-free Invitation For Bids has not been issued despite an earlier statement from Maryland Aviation Adminstration. The airport authority expects to issue the duty-free IFB within the next 30 days.
