Copenhagen passenger traffic increases 2.1%

Locally departing passengers drive growth at Copenhagen Kastrup

Copenhagen Kastrup airport has reported an overall passenger increase of 2.1% for June compared to the same month in 2004.

The total number of passengers using the airport increased by 40,753. Of this figure locally departing passengers increased by 54,999 representing a rise of 8.4%.

Transit passengers decreased by 32,058, representing a fall of 9.2%.

Scheduled international airlines brought 23,946 more passengers than in June 2004 (up 1.5%) with charter passengers increasing by 18,138 (up 2.4%).
