The airport authority has named Brian Petersen as the new president and CEO

Brian Petersen has been appointed as president and CEO of Copenhagen Airports. He will take up his new position by July 1.

Petersen succeeds CEO and president Niels Boserup, who is retiring after 16 years. Boserup will work alongside his successor to ensure a smooth transition period.

Copenhagen Airport chairmans Henrik Gürtler said: “We have found the right person to head Copenhagen Airports in the coming years, aiming an increase in passenger numbers from 20 to 30 million per year and continuing to develop the airport’s position as Scandinavia’s most important hub.”
