An international airline with a network covering more than 30 countries is outsourcing its inflight retail business

Business consultancy Solutions World is seeking experienced inflight retailers to take on retail operations for its client, "an international airline with a worldwide network". Solutions World CEO SS Ahluwalia told RavenFox.com that it had suggested outsourcing the retail operation to its client, "a reputable national carrier with a network covering over 30 countries", to improve the efficiency of the airline's operations.

Said Ahluwalia: "We mooted the idea to the airline to outsource its duty-free retail operation—that is the entire operations including stocking, catalogues, selling and accounting—on all its flights. The airline has a large retail operation and will be a good business for duty-free operators."

Although he could not divulge the identity of the airline at this stage, Ahluwalia said that he would provide details to retailers registering their interest in entering negotiations for the business.

Solutions World is a consultancy with offices in London and New Delhi. Retailers interested in the opportunity should contact SS Ahluwalia at info@solutionsworld.co.uk
