Companies pledge glittering prizes for Black Velvet Ball
Raven Fox would like to thank those companies that have pledged prizes for the Black Velvet Ball being held on March 9 in aid of the Chernobyl Children's Project. So far over 50 suppliers and retailers have contributed to the evening which will include a raffle, auction, live band, magician, caricaturist, a jewellery Wish Tree plus fine wines and liqueurs.
Among the lots being offered for auction are two round-the-world flight tickets pledged by King Power's Antares Cheng. Heineken has offered a weekend for two in Amsterdam with a tour of the Heineken museum and JTI has donated a business-class ticket from Switzerland to Japan. Star prizes in the raffle to date include a crystal decanter from Camus Cognac, a case of Martell Cognac from Seagram, a weekend for two at the Hope Anchor Hotel in the picturesque English village of Rye donated by Cecil MacDonald & Co and a case of Jack Daniel's from Brown-Forman. Lancaster Group, Elizabeth Arden, Parfums Givenchy, Lalique and ELI Expo Logistics have also pledged donations for the evening.
Revellers will also be able to make their travel-retail wishes come true with the Wish Tree of 100 jewellery prizes provided by Swarovski, Majorica and Buckley Jewellery.
