Commercial revenues at Zürich up 16% in November

Airside revenues registered growth of 20.8% in November compared to the same month in 2006

Airport authority Unique announced a 16% rise in commercial revenues at Zürich airport to CHF35.6m ($30.7m) in November compared to the same month in 2006. Airside revenues were up 20.8% during the same period, while landside revenues grew by 9.6%. Turnover per departing passenger (airside) increased by 8.6% while turnover per departing passenger (landside) fell by 1.5%.

The airport handled 1.5m passengers in November—an increase of 11.2% compared to the same period last year. The year-to-date passenger growth is at 7.9%.
