The new store at Portland International airport offers the brand’s full range of outdoor clothing and footwear

Outdoor clothing company Columbia Sportswear has opened a store at Portland International airport. The outlet is located near the entry to concourses A, B and C and offers the brand’s full range of clothing and footwear.

Columbia Sportswear president and CEO Tim Boyle said: “As an Oregon-based company with deep roots in the community, we are delighted to present our innovative outdoor products to the millions of people who visit our great state as well as to those who call Oregon home.”

Port of Portland aviation director Mary Maxwell added: “We welcome Columbia Sportswear’s new store at [Portland airport], which will be a big hit with locals and visitors who love to experience the vast variety of outdoor activities that Oregon and Southwest Washington have to offer.”

Portland airport handles about 14.6m travellers a year.
