The retailer's outlet at Kuala Lumpur International airport takes top honours in the country's most prestigious tourism awards

Colours & Fragrances' cosmetics and fragrances shop at Kuala Lumpur International airport (KLIA) has won the Speciality Store—Most Supportive Shopping Outlet accolade at the Malaysian Tourism Awards. The awards are organised by the Malysian tourism ministry and are said to be the most prestigious of their kind in the country.

The company's store at Kota Kinabalu International airport was also nominated for the same award, while sister company Skymall Duty Free Langkawi was nominated in the department store category. Colours & Fragrances was the only travel-retailer to win a tourism award.

The company, a subsidiary of DR Group Holdings, stated: "Colours & Fragrances [at KLIA] is now recognised as the store with commitment for excellence in the travel-retail industry. We surpassed all other retailers in terms of professional, attentive customer service, attractive merchandising and presentation with a world class store set-up. This recognition will propel Colours & Fragrances to work even harder to maintain this position."
