Colorful Licenses has named ACG Trading as its duty-free distributor in the US to grow its presence in the region
Dutch licensee company Colorful Licenses has appointed ACG Trading to manage the duty-free distribution of Oilily fragrances and accessories, and the new Betsey Johnson fragrance in the US.
ACG Trading, which represents a number of premium brands in the US duty-free market, will introduce and develop the brands in key airport, border and cruise locations.
Colorful Licenses president Cees Homburg said: "ACG Trading was recommended to us due to its professionalism and experience in the US market. We are confident ACG Trading will take our brands to a new level in the North American duty-free market and that a long relationship lies ahead."
ACG Trading director Nick Tamma commented: "Oilily has an established presence in the US, albeit limited at the moment and we are excited about taking this to new levels and increasing its business in duty-free. For Betsey Johnson, it is another story. She is so well known in North America that consumers and retailers are going mad for her new fragrance and it is our job to make sure that it is presented to the right customers and receives the right attention in store. We are very confident and excited about this new partnership."
ACG Trading will present the collections to the region's key retailers, focusing on key airport locations and the cruise market. In the long-term, the distribution will expand to south America and Canada, covering all border stores and cruise operations.
