Word Duty Free receives limited edition Cohiba presentation boxes
World Duty Free has received a limited quantity of exclusive presentation boxes from Havana’s flagship Cohiba cigar brand to mark the opening of the new cigar store at London Heathrow airport terminal five. The boxes were supplied by Hunters & Frankau, Cuban cigar supplier Habanos’ exclusive UK distributor. Each box contains five of the recently-released Cohiba Maduro 5 Magicos cigars which measure 4.5 inches (115mm) by 52 ring gauge. Each box retails at £99 ($196).The Cohiba Maduro 5 range was introduced to Asia/Pacific travel-retail last summer by exclusive Habanos distributor Pacific Cigar Co and consists of three different cigar sizes with each cigar wrapped in dark leaves to give a stronger, but smoother and sweeter flavour than traditional Cuban wrapper leaf. The wrapper is aged for five years and darker than most other Habanos wrappers.
