Customers who spend any amount at the operator’s stores from August to October could win Hyundai cars and other prizes

Retailer Cochin Duty Free (CDF) has launched a shopping promotion at Cochin International airport. The Shopping Carnival 2008, which is jointly organised by airport operator Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), the Federal Bank of India and Hyundai Motors, was designed to “enhance the shopping experience of international passengers from the airport”.

The event will run for three months and is planned to happen every year from August. Passengers who purchase products at CDF stores will have a chance to win a Hyundai car every month—the winners in August and September will get i10 models, while the September winner will receive a Hyundai Verna.

The event will include other shopping promotions and deals for customers. More information about those can be found on CDF’s website. CDF is operated by Alpha Asia subsidiary Alpha Kreol on a management contract from CIAL.
