Clinique appoints Jourde to new regional role
Jean-Christophe Jourde to take up North America role next month reporting to Ricard Quintero
Estée Lauder Companies brand Clinique has announced the promotion of Jean-Christophe Jourde to the newly-created role of senior vice-president general manager for North America with responsibility for driving sales and market share growth for the brand in the region. He takes up the position on July 1 when he will report to Clinique senior vice-president, global general manager, market development Ricardo Quintero.
Jourde, began his career with The Estée Lauder Companies in Germany in 2004 as Estée Lauder and Aramis Designer Fragrances brand manager. He currently oversees 38 markets in his capacity as Clinique Europe vice-president/general manager Europe, Middle East and Africa. .
The Estée Lauder Companies and global brand president Clinique Lynne Greene said: “Jean-Christophe is an outstanding professional. We are proud to bring such a talented leader to North America.”
Quintero added: “I am extremely pleased Jean-Christophe will be leading Clinique in North America where the brand is the leader in beauty. He has a track record of success and the experience, passion and imagination to lead and accelerate Clinique’s strategies in this region."
