The fashion brand wins its second Singapore concession so far this year

Chomel has won the contract for a mid-priced brand-name fashion accessories shop at Singapore Changi airport terminal two, its second such award at the location. Last month the company was awarded the contract for an accessories outlet in terminal one departures.

The company, which will offer its own fashion line in the store, beat competition from nine other bidders, including Swarovski and Fossil. Chomel bid S$30,000 ($18,405) a month or 16% of gross sales to win the concession.

Meanwhile, Changi airport has called a fresh tender for a short-term sunglasses concession in terminal one departures. Bids are due by April 20. The contract begins on July 1 this year and ends on December 31 2006.
