The Sweet Treats campaign was held for a month with the retailer at Kuala Lumpur International airport

Travel retailer Chocolate Sales and Supplies (CSS) has hosted a month-long Hershey’s promotion in the Choc Stop International duty-free store at Kuala Lumpur International airport’s satellite building. The Sweet Treats campaign allowed customers to sample the brand’s products and take advantage of offers including a free six-pack of Hershey’s milk chocolate bars when purchasing three products from the Travel-Retail Exclusive range. The supplier also offered a limited-edition 4GB USB device as gift with purchase.

CSS group marketing manager Shereen Lau said the supplier offered a “dynamic promotion”, adding: “Hershey’s wide varieties of chocolate innovations ranging from Kisses, Nuggets and Bliss to the all-time favourite Reese's, has made the brand one of the best selling chocolates in Malaysian duty-free. The attractive offers were coupled with really attractive gifts.

“Sales of Hershey’s escalated by more than 25% over the previous month with a lovely hostess and multi-lingual promoters,” Lau said. “Hershey’s and Choc Stop International are certainly working well together to bring the leading American chocolate brand to greater heights.”
