Confectionery store receives prize from Malaysian minister

The Choc Stop confectionery store at Kuala Lumpur International airport (KLIA) has won the Best Specialty Shop prize at the latest Malaysia Tourism Awards ceremony. The presentation took place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and the company received its accolade from the country’s minister of tourism Datu Sri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansur.

DR Group marketing manager Aisyah Shereen Lau said: “The award for Best Speciality Shop illustrates the fact that Choc Stop at KLIA is truly outstanding.” She added that the store recently won the awards for the Best Supportive Retailer in the airport for February and March 2007.
