Liquor supplier Pernod Ricard has announced the travel-retail launches of the Chivas Regal 12 magnum by Christian Lacroix  in Hong Kong and Vietnam.

The 1.5 litre bottle, which recently won the Jury Prize at the annual Monaco Formes de Luxe 2009 awards, where the packaging of products in 14 categories such as glassware, wine and spirits is recognised, was launched in October with DFS at Singapore Changi International airport. Last month it was rolled out in Bangkok with King Power Group (Thailand) and at airports in  Australia and New Zealand and in January 2010 it will be available in Korea with Lotte Duty Free and Korean Air.  In April it will be launched in Malaysian duty-free. The bottle is currently retailing at $100 in DFS outlets at Singapore Changi airport.

Pernod Ricard regional director global travel-retail Robin Johnston said: "The international buzz generated by the launch of the Chivas' Lacroix limited edition magnum formula has been huge for attracting the attention of discerning travellers."
