The City of Chicago Department of Aviation has re-issued its request for proposals for duty-free, news and gifts and speciality retail at terminal five

The City of Chicago Department of Aviation has re-issued the request for proposals (RFP) for speciality retail, news and gifts, food and beverage and duty-free concessions at Chicago O’Hare International airport terminal five. The RFP contains 10 packages across 15 separate locations comprising 15,183sq ft (1,411sq m) of space. Respondents may submit proposals for any one or more of the offered packages.

The move follows the release of an RFP for a master developer to manage, operate and develop retail at the international terminal in January.  The proposed eight-year contract, with an option to extend for two years, then covered 15 outlets and the successful bidder was entitled to operate 50% of the 16,592sq ft (1,542sq m) space.

The deadline for new submissions is 5pm on October 4.
