The new DFNI Gallery debuts with pictures from the Bollywood Ball for sale with proceeds going to the Lotus Flower Trust

DFNIonline is proud to present its new Gallery service, where pictures from industry events will be available for all visitors to the website. The first featured gallery presents photos from the DFNI Bollywood Ball, which took place on February 27 at the Renaissance Chancery Court hotel in London.

The event raised more than £35,000 ($48,365) to enable beneficiary charity Lotus Flower Trust to build the Jim Corbett Environmental Primary and Junior School in Patrani, India. Readers can still help by purchasing pictures from the Bollywood Ball gallery—photos cost £5 ($6.88) each and all proceeds will go to the Trust.

Lotus Flower Trust CEO John Hunt also said that the school would welcome pencils, pens, rubbers, rulers, cheap calculators, but no books or paper, which are too heavy to send by air. Ribbons, hair bands and glitter of any sort for the girls would also be welcomed, as would fluffy toys, socks for boys and girls, toiletries such as soap, flannels, hair brushes, combs, torches with batteries and shoulder bags. “We would also welcome cricket bats, balls and stumps, tennis balls and footballs. Remember, we have 300 children to look after,” he added. Anyone who can donate such items should email johnhuntnfo@googlemail.com.
