DFS Venture (Singapore) was the only company to submit proposals for the concessions

DFS Venture (Singapore) could be close to securing the contracts for a cigar shop and a wine outlet at Singapore Changi airport’s terminal three’s south departure/transit lounge. The travel retailer was the only company to submit proposals for the tenders. Both contracts run for three years from January 9 2008.

For the cigar concession, DFS offered either 25% of total monthly gross sales (tmgs) or a minimum monthly guaranteed payment of S$22,888 ($15,464), whichever is higher. The company’s proposal for the wine concessions indicates DFS will pay the highest of either 20% of tmgs or a minimum monthly guarantee of S$31,888 ($21,549).

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore also extended the deadline for proposals concerning a tender for a luxury brand name concession of undetermined size at Changi airport’s terminal three’s south departure/transit lounge.
