The T3 shopping area covers over 8,600sq m (92,569sq ft) and features 60 retail and food and beverage outlets

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has announced the opening of the landside shopping area at Singapore Changi airport terminal three. The T3 public shopping centre is the largest in the airport, covering over 8,600sq m (92,569sq ft) and featuring 60 retail and food and beverage outlets. The shops are located in two areas: B2 Mall @ T3, located at basement two, and 3-Top on levels three and four.

To celebrate the launch, the landside retail area at T3 will run a promotion during the month of April. Shoppers who spend at least S$30 ($21.72) in a single transaction on Visa cards or S$60 ($43.45) in cash will be entered a draw to win one of 30 trips to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

CAAS director-general and CEO Lim Kim Choon said: “Though an airport is primarily for travellers, many Singaporeans, especially those living in the eastern part of the island, visit the airport to dine and relax on weekends. We hope these visitors will continue to enjoy shopping and dining at Changi Airport, in particular, the unique retail and F&B experience at T3’s public area.”
