The contract for the 98sq m (1,054sq ft) wine outlet will run for three years from December 1 2008

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has issued a tender for a wine concession at Singapore Changi airport terminal two’s departure/transit lounge central. Parties interested in bidding for the 98sq m (1,054sq ft) outlet have until May 15 to submit their proposals.

The term of the concession will run for three years from December 1 2008 to November 30 2011, with an option to renew for another two years at the end of the tenancy term at CAAS’ discretion.

Elsewhere, CAAS awarded a brand name delicatessen concession at T2 departure/check-in hall central to Sinjaya Food Enterprise. The company will operate a Kedai Kue Kue delicatessen in the 49sq m (527sq ft) landside space after beating competition from Bengawan Solo, the only other company to participate in the tender. Sinjaya offered an additional rental of either 18% of the total monthly gross sales or a minimum monthly guarantee of S$16,888 ($12,500), whichever is higher.
