The retailer retains its fragrances and cosmetics contracts at Singapore Changi terminals one and two until 2008

Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore has extended Nuance-Watson's fragrances and cosmetics concession at Singapore Changi terminals one and two until the airport's third terminal opens in 2008. The contracts for T1 and T2 were due to expire in August 2006 and March 2007 respectively.

The new contract grants Nuance-Watson (Singapore) the rights to operate the fragrances and cosmetics concession at Changi's new low-cost carrier terminal, which is scheduled to begin operations in April next year.

The Nuance Group Asia Pacific CEO John Moore said: "Having grown the business by more than 50% since the beginning of our operations in 2001, we are very pleased to have been awarded the extension and delighted to have the opportunity to partner CAAS to further grow our business in Singapore. We take the low-cost carrier terminal as both an opportunity and a challenge and intend to present to our customers a more exciting shopping experience with our new format."

CAAS commercial director Lim Peck Hoon said: "Our partnership with Nuance-Watson has been a great success. Our collaboration has enabled us to provide passengers at Changi with even more choice and innovative concepts."
