Capi to open new shops in Sweden
The retailer will open three shops at Stockholm Arlanda and one at Gothenburg Landvetter airports
Dutch electronics retailer Royal Capi-Lux is to open three outlets at Stockholm Arlanda airport and one at Gothenburg Landvetter.
The Stockholm Arlanda shops will open this month and be located in international terminal two, while the Gothenburg outlet will open in May and be situated in the international departure hall near gate 18. All stores will follow the Capi The Travellers Electronics Company retail concept.
Royal Capi-Lux managing director Peter Wiggers (pictured right) said: “Capi has wanted to set up shop in Sweden for some time now and since there have been so many exciting developments at Stockholm Arlanda and Gothenburg Landvetter in recent years, this makes our establishment in Sweden a strategic and logical step. We are delighted with these new locations and look forward to a long-term and prosperous partnership.”
Arlanda Schiphol Development Co managing director Roel Huinink (pictured left) added: “We’re pleased that Capi is opening shops at Stockholm Arlanda and Gothenburg Landvetter airports. We aim to offer our passengers a broad and interesting shopping experience and consider Capi’s vision of offering the latest products at the best possible price to be part of this endeavour.”
The company already has a strong presence in the Nordic region with shops at Helsinki Vantaa and Oslo Gardermoen international airports.
